The kit includes a 3-foot, UL Listed power cord, a strain relief clamp, wire connectors, and detailed instructions. Once installed, the disposer can be plugged directly into a standard wall outlet. This genuine InSinkErator product meets Underwriter Laboratories Inc. SPT-3 category for insulation thickness and moisture resistance, ensuring safety and reliability. The smooth side of the power cord should be connected to the black wire of the disposer, while the ribbed side should be connected to the white wire.
